Each dog must have a behavior evaluation interview to get to know your dog's unique personality whether enrolled in private or group walks. There are discounts for households with more than one dog. Go to our Locations Served page for our Dog Walking services area of coverage.
The Dog Walkers
Our Dog Walkers are required to attend dogTEC's Dog Walking Academy program where each student learns about dog behavior, body language and pack management, as well as certification in Dog CPR and First Aid, making us better leaders and handlers of the 4-legged companions that are put into our care.
Eligibility
To participate in either Private Walks or Group Walks, the following items are required.
- Dogs must have current DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations. We require a copy of your dog's current vaccinations records from your veterinarian to keep on file.
- Dogs must be on a once a month flea and tick control program such as Advantage or Frontline.
- Dogs must wear a current dog license from the city where they live and a name identification tag. We also recommend having your dog microchipped for identification purposes.
- Dogs must be a minimum of 5-months of age for Group Walks. If younger, consider our Puppy Play & Train program or sign-up for Private Dog Walks.
- Dogs 6-months of age or older must be spayed or neutered to participate in group walks.
