Beach Trip Services
Sign up your dog for an all day trip to the beach to play, walk and swim along the coast of Santa Cruz or Carmel-by-the-Sea! What could be more fun than dog paddling and smelling the ocean air? Our staff are trained and certified in Pet First Aid by PetTech and the American Red Cross. Please no feeding 2-hours before departure. Call or email for scheduling this year-round swimming & walking excursion. Day trips are planned on Mondays and Fridays.
Trip to Santa Cruz or to Carmel-by-the-sea (includes off-leash playtime, a 60-minute walk on the beach, a rinse off and brush out before the drive home, digital photos of Fido, a trip report, carpooling in the Pet Taxi with furry friends and end of day car wash). We supply the fun, fresh water, towels, Orbee-Tuff tennis balls, Kongs, beach blankets, and yummy treats.
Field trip to Santa Cruz is approximately 3.5 hours round-trip, and the trip to Carmel-by-the-sea is approximately 5-hours round-trip.
Group Dog Walking and Beach Trips
If your dog is on a full-time (5-days per week) or part-time (3-days per week) Group Dog Walking schedule, you can use your Dog Walking visits to sign-up for a group Beach Trip.
Eligibility
To participate in our Dog Walking or Beach Trips, the following items are required.
- Dogs must have current DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations. We require a copy of your dog's current vaccinations records from your veterinarian to keep on file.
- Dogs must be on a once a month flea and tick control program such as Advantage or Frontline.
- Dogs must wear a current dog license from the city where they live and a name identification tag. We also recommend having your dog microchipped for identification purposes.
- Dogs must be a minimum of 5-months of age. If younger, consider our Puppy Play & Train program or sign-up for Private Dog Walks.
- Dogs 6-months of age or older must be spayed or neutered to participate in group walks.
