Dog Walking Services

Private or group dog walking and play dates for socialization and exercise - rain or shine - for dogs in any physical condition.  Our Dog Walkers encourage and motivate dogs to be well behaved during their outings.  No pinch / prong, choke, shock collars or leash jerking methods are ever used.

Each dog must have a behavior evaluation interview to get to know your dog's unique personality before walks can begin.  There are discounts for households with more than one dog.  Visit our Locations Served page for our Dog Walking services area of coverage.

The Dog Walkers

Our Dog Walkers are required to attend dogTEC's Dog Walking Academy program where each student learns about dog behavior, body language and pack management, as well as certification in Dog CPR and First Aid, making us better leaders and handlers of the 4-legged companions that are put into our care.  

Eligibility

To sign-up for Dog Walking, the following items are required of each dog.

  • Dogs must have current DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations. We require a copy of your dog's current vaccinations records from your veterinarian to keep on file.
  • Dogs must be on a once a month flea and tick control program such as Advantage or Frontline.
  • Dogs must wear a current dog license from the city where they live and a name identification tag.  We also recommend having your dog microchipped for identification purposes.
  • Dogs must be a minimum of 5-months of age for Group Walks.  If younger, consider our Puppy Play & Train program or sign-up for Private Dog Walks.
  • Dogs 6-months of age or older must be spayed or neutered to participate in group walks.

Group Dog Walking and Beach Trips

If your dog is on a full-time (5-days per week) or part-time (3-days per week) Group Dog Walking schedule, you can use your Dog Walking visits to sign-up for a group Beach Trip.

Private Dog Walking and the Puppy Play and Train

If your puppy is under 20-weeks of age, consider a Private Dog Walking package or the Puppy Play & Train program.
